Power to the building will be turned off

URGENT NOTICE

Attention Residents,

 

Power to the building will be turned off on Friday, May 26th from 8:30am to 9:30am for Emergency System Testing.

The building will run on emergency generator during that time.

This will affect water distribution per suite and the cooling system as well.  Please make sure to set aside water for this disruption.

Also, please allow for extra time as only one elevator will be operational at this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please be advised that, due to unfortunate circumstances, the Performance Audit repair of the Compactor Room will not be completed until Monday, April 24th.

 

Please continue to bring all garbage and recycling directly down to the Loading Area where bins will be provided for garbage/recycling disposal.

PLEASE DO NOT THROW CIGARETTE BUTTS OFF OF BALCONIES

Residents are asked to refrain from throwing cigarette butts from balconies.  This practice poses a serious fire hazard which can cause severe damage to both person and property.  

Anyone caught throwing cigarette butts from balconies will be held responsible for any damages resulting from their actions.  

Please place cigarette butts in fire-proof containers for future disposal or use one of the building’s cigarette butt containers located at various locations around the exterior of the building.

DUE TO AN EMERGENCY, UNITS ON THE 15TH AND SOME UNITS ON THE 12TH RISERS, WILL HAVE THE HEAT SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY IN ORDER TO MAKE URGENT REPAIRS.  

 

THE HEAT WILL BE BACK ON AT APPROXIMATELY 5:00 P.M. 

 

UNITS AFFECTED WILL BE SUITES 615 & 515, AND MAY AFFECT SOME SUITES FROM 212 TO 2612.

Please be advised that contractors from Clarified Air Technologies will be in the building to perform fan coil maintenance on December 5th to December 9th.

Please make your suite available for the technicians or your fan coil system will not be serviced.

Clarified Air will be escorted to all suites by security.

Please make sure to move all objects at least 3ft away from your fan coil unit.  Clarified Air will NOT move any items and will not clean obstructed units.

Notice Re: WEEKEND FLOOD DAMAGE

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS PAST WEEKEND THERE WAS A MAJOR PIPE BURST IN THE BUILDING, RESULTING IN HEAVY DAMAGE TO ONE SUITE, AS WELL AS THE LOBBY, MANAGEMENT OFFICE, AND PARTY ROOM.

 

AS A RESULT, THE PARTY ROOM WILL BE CLOSED FOR RESTORATION, AND THERE WILL BE NO MORE PARTY BOOKINGS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

 

ALSO, ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, CONTRACTORS WILL BE SETTING UP SCAFFOLDING IN THE LOBBY TO REPAIR THE CEILING. PLEASE EXERCISE CARE WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE LOBBY.

 

THESE REPAIRS WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO COMPLETE. WE WILL POST UPDATES AS THE WORK CONTINUES.

"NEW" VISITORS PARKING POLICY

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, ALL VISITORS NOW HAVE TO "SIGN IN" & "SIGN OUT" AT THE FRONT DESK (in the event a visitor does not sign out, it will be considered an overnight pass).

 

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT SINCE THE 5th OF NOVEMBER 2015, RESIDENTS ARE ONLY PERMITTED "30 OVERNIGHT" PASSES PER YEAR, PER SUITE (which may be issued all at once or scattered throughout the year).
