LIGHTING RETROFIT

 

Please be advised that a lighting retrofit of 3985 Grand Park Drive will begin in or around the date of May 1, 2019. This project will significantly lower hydro bills for PSCC 960 and will take 6-8 weeks to complete.

All common element lights inside and outside the building will be switched to LED lights.  Stairwell lights will be hooked up to motion sensors and the pool area will be hooked up to a light sensor as the pool area has a lot of natural light which can be better utilized.  These sensors will only add to the hydro savings. In consultation with our engineering company, Belanger Engineering, it is believed this project will save PSCC 960 over $98,000.00 in hydro billing yearly, with the initial investment of the project completely made up for in 10.5 months through the savings.

During the switchover, there may be some disruption in the hallways as crews from SimplyLED install the new lighting.  We ask for resident patience and discretion during this project.
