CANNABIS AND SMOKING SURVEY

1. Should residents or their guests be allowed to smoke or vape cannabis for recreational use on outdoor common areas where smoking of cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products is allowed pursuant to section 12 of the Smoke-Free Ontario Act.
2. Should residents or their guests be allowed to smoke or vape cannabis for recreational use in the resident’s dwelling unit?
3. Should residents or their guests be allowed to smoke or vape cannabis for recreational use in or on their exclusive use common element? (balcony or terrace)
4. Should residents be allowed to grow cannabis for recreational use in their own dwelling unit?
5. Should residents be allowed to grow cannabis for recreational use in or on their exclusive use common element (terrace, balcony, storage lockers.)
6. Should a proposed rule also extend to prohibit residents and their guests from smoking cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products in their units and exclusive use common element areas?

The Board will not proceed with any endeavour involving marijuana/cigarette/cigar smoking if less than 150 surveys are returned (no matter what the response to the survey shows) as the Board would like the consensus of a large portion of owners before initiating such an endeavour.
